Hygieia advises on evidence-based approaches to suicide prevention. We support the development, implementation, and evaluation of a wide range of suicide prevention efforts, tailored specifically to you.
By conducting thorough needs assessments, we tailor programs to address unique challenges, whether it's fostering a supportive school environment, enhancing workplace mental health resources, or promoting community awareness initiatives.

• Supporting internal organizational teams with suicide prevention and postvention needs. • Advancing processes and services documentation to avoid malpractice litigation. • Aiding in crisis management when necessary.
Research and
Editorial Support
• Supporting the development of research (for example, National Institute of Health) and service (for example, SAMHSA) grant reviews. • Suicide prevention scientific manuscript editorial work (books and articles).
Assessment, Planning,
and Implementation
• Assessing and connecting organizational or community needs. • Planning for sustainability of existing efforts. • Advising on quantitative and qualitative assessments for specific projects. • Developing processes to meet regulatory requirements and guidelines, such as Pennsylvania's OMHSAS Performance Improvement Plan. • Suicide risk management strategies.

• Designing educational, corporate, and public suicide prevention systems of any size and across all steps: development, implementation, and/or evaluation. • Improving comprehensive suicide behaviors risk identifications within organizations and communities. • Tools and workshops designed to foster socio-emotional life skills in groups at risk. • Activities to identify and address barriers to access care. • Strategies to support help-seeking behaviors among groups at risk.

• Strategically planning and design of events focused on evidence-based suicide prevention, tailored to engage and support diverse audiences. • Culturally sensitive suicide prevention event content and agenda development. • Post suicide prevention event evaluation.
In addition to direct consulting services, Hygieia offers training workshops, community conversation facilitation, resource development, and ongoing support to ensure sustainable impact.
